Spike the Porcupine is looking for action

I have found that the easiest way to create drawings for Web Pages is to start by drawing the objects much larger and then to resize them using the computer to make them smaller for display on Web Pages.

All of the drawings shown below were first created in larger sizes much like the porcupine at the top of this page.

Note that it is better to resize the drawings before adding them to Web Pages rather than to use the Browser to make them smaller.  If you resize them using the Browser it wastes download time, because the entire large image must first be downloaded to the user's computer before it can be resized.

The small images shown on this page were created from the larger drawings by using the graphics program Paint Shop Pro.  To avoid a grainy look I used the "Soften" filter effect in Paint Shop Pro before resizing them.
