Before you start
This
page is a hat for several pages created for different reasons, at different
times, using different formats, mostly because at that time, I didn't have
any to spend. I didn't work on the formats since then, but I hope the content
will be still useful for you. Most pages are still on the Xoom server,
so be patient... If you didn't play Myst or Riven or just looking for hints,
have a look at this note.

The
Rivenguild community has been the beneficiary of several hints regarding
Cyan's
next game and projects. This is a small guide to survive the recent puzzles
set up to let us discover what is brewing in Spokane. If you are
not familiar with this serie, you may want to check the Rivenguild
site first and the previous Rivenguild Series as EDGE and Exploration
& Discovery.

The
blue one. I have the original at home, laminated. Got it in the defunct
Crazy Irving chain store, where a nice salesman gave me their last copy.
Nah! :)

Flashes of Riven
in the real Life
Many
fans had them. Mostly rusted metal found in a museum. You will find there
the original photo published on the Lyst a while ago. Some even thought
it was part of the game... ;-) I used this photo to do "The Eye".

IMPORTANT NOTE
This
page won't make sense if you didn't play Riven.
What
are Myst and Riven?
Riven,
and its predecessor Myst redefined computer adventure games and lead to
the creation of a new category: immersion games. Combining astonishing
graphics with intelligent play and well integrated puzzles, Rand and Robyn
Miller provided a non-violent gaming experimence that would appeal to a
completely new segment of the population who do not generally engage in
the traditional, high-adrenaline war games. The Miller's new fictional
world was enriched by three novels: Book of Atrus, Book of Tiana, Book
of D'ni. Two more are on the working table.
If
you never played Myst and Riven but are curious about these worlds, have
a look at Rivenguild community page.
For
hints and spoilers, hop directly to the Rivenguild
Board page.
